T.H.A.N.K.F.U.L.
I absolutely love this time of year! And I always try to take the month of November and reflect on a few things that I am thankful for. There are so many facebook friends participating in the Thankful challenge where they make a daily post of what they are thankful for. I didn't want to be like everyone else but wanted to make a list, a list for me, to keep my many blessing in front of me.
So here it is . . . .
Jesus Christ and His forgiveness.
His grace.
His mercy.
His love.
My high school sweetheart and love of my life, my husband and father of my children.
My parents and the loving stable environment in which I was raised.
My beautiful and healthy children, Kayla, Kristin, and Brian.
Two sons-in-laws that are wonderful husbands to my girls and daddy's to my grandchildren.
A beautiful daughter-in-law that absolutely adores my son.
Three beautiful, precious and healthy grandchildren, Drew Chase, Audrey Claire, & Griffin Blaine.
A mother-in-law and father-in-law that have accepted me as one of their own.
My health.
A wonderful job/career that has allowed me to provide for my family.
The absolutely beautiful part of the country that I live in. I love the view from my front porch.
So thankful I get to experience four very distinct seasons. I love the beautiful fall colors!
My five senses: I can see! I can hear! I can feel! I can smell! And I can taste!
So thankful to be able to view beautiful sunsets.
The ability to smell fresh cut grass.
The ability to hear a gentle falling rain.
And all of the many different tastes I have experienced on my pallet.
I have never had to do without necessities.
I have never had to earnestly want and desire to have something for very long.
Warm shelter and food in the fridge.
A pillow to lay my head on every night and a place to call home.
Reliable transportation that gets me to places I need to go.
My one and only sibling, a younger sister; someday we will be there to lean on each other.
The ability to put both feet on the floor every morning and walk.
VETERANS! Absolutely cannot thank them enough for the freedoms we experience daily.
There are so many other things, to many to mention. Some seem so insignificant and seem so silly to mention.
Basically, I love my life. Thank you dear Heavenly Father.
